Volunteer

Our Annual Persian Dinner fundraiser, raises a large percentage of the funds needed to support our clients and we are seeking volunteers to help us with this fundraiser.  Volunteers are needed for:

Friday, May 8th: Event Set Up
10:00a-2:00p  
4 volunteers needed for event set-up.

Saturday, May 9th: Event Set Up
11:00a-1:00p
2 volunteers

4:00p-10:00p
4 volunteers needed for directing parking and help during event (table service, bussing, dessert service, kitchen help and cleanup)

5:30-9:00
2 volunteers needed for raffle sales, paddle raise spotting and auction assembly/check out

4:30 - 9:00pm
1 OLCC licensed server

Location: Al Kader Shrine Center 25100 SW Parkway Rd., Wilsonville, OR

General Responsibilities:
•Assisting with event setup and breakdown 
•Greeting and directing attendees 
•Checking in guests and assisting with event registration 
•Assisting with guest payment and checkouts 
•Raffle sellers, Auction assistants, Paddle raise spotters
•Providing information about the event and answering questions 
•Managing queues and directing traffic flow
•Maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude
•Adhere to appropriate dress code (black pants and black shirt)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
•Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines 
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
•Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing situations 
•Enthusiasm and positive attitude
